Happy Friday from the hopeful cottage on Brunswick! Ending the week off with our weekly wish list:
Snacks, tea, coffee and special treats like baked goods or fruit are always needed
As well there has been an increase in vegan clients, to better our dietary inclusion, hummus or vegan spreads would be very appreciated!
Lastly, Hope Cottage would love to receive bulbs of garlic, as the weather changes we’re entering the perfect season for planting it in our garden!

We accept donations from 9am-6pm, Monday to Friday and are so thankful to those that are able to and take the time to stop by❤️

A gentle reminder to check out expiration dates, as we do not take or serve expired items.

A very thankful Thursday as we’re still carrying

A very thankful Thursday as we’re still carrying the feelings from our beautiful thanksgiving dinner.

We had an amazing group of people that made the day so special, serving not only delicious food but a warm atmosphere. Ed made up a full course dinner that left everyone stuffed and happy, practically rolling out the door.

Last week, this week and always we’re thankful to our hope cottage community for their passion and dedication, and to accessible food made with love.

Starting this week, October 21st-28th a small sect

Starting this week, October 21st-28th a small section of Brunswick street will be closed due to construction of the new development being built beside us. The road will still be open to local traffic, however, be sure to give yourself extra time to account for any road disturbances.

The route may be smoother if you come from Gottingen st. down Uniacke st. street into our parking lot.

Gobble gobble, did someone say turkey dinner with all the fixings?! We will be open from 12-1pm for one meal on Monday, October 14.

We’re thankful for our beautiful Hope Cottage community, delicious food, full bellies and the little moments that make us smile each day.

Our staff and volunteers had such a great time at the Hope Cottage golf fundraiser. The weather was perfect for a bowl of Ed’s chicken soup.

Along with our fundraisers, Hope Cottage relies on the incredible people that are there every day or week to make the space comforting for our community. We all look forward to this tournament each year as it’s another day of fun memories and a chance to appreciate each other outside of work!
